I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Roanoke, Virginia. I attended Ferrum College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in English and Psychology. I then went to Radford University and earned a Master of Science degree in English. I have had many jobs over my life and have gained skills that serve me every day in my work for The Worship Place. I met Terry Goodnight in 2010 and convinced him to marry me in 2012 and he is my greatest earthly blessing from the Lord. It is my joy to serve and support all the pastors at The Worship Place with the gifts that God has given me. Terry and I have no children, but we have two cats who bring joy and much fur to our lives. We are big ole nerds who enjoy attending theater and concerts, going to baseball games, and watching movies. I also enjoy reading and writing, painting, and other hand crafts.
