Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you. Join Biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today. Gain deeper insight into the Biblical world, including a fresh perspective on familiar Bible stories. Discover the Bible through the lens of Middle Eastern culture. Explore how Jesus generously restores dignity and honor to women in the first century and now.

- Registration for all WOW Bible Studies is $20 and covers the cost of the study book, any DVDs, and other leadership materials required. Books are ordered by the church and are available on the first day of class at which time payment is due by cash or check. Scholarships are available by contacting Donna Betts at donna.k.betts@gmail.com.
- Most classes are limited to 15 women. If the Bible Study in which you are interested is full, please sign up for the Waiting List by contacting Donna Betts at donna.k.betts@gmail.com. Invariably people drop out of studies before they begin or don’t attend on the first day, so openings do occur. Also, this is a great indicator the study needs to be repeated and could become available to you in the future.
- Please register for only 1 (one) study so that more women can attend. Be sure to mark your study dates on your calendar! If you find you cannot attend, please quickly cancel so we can fill your seat before the sessions begin.
