A beautiful queen, her courageous cousin, a foreign land, and a murderous adversary -- the book of Esther has all the elements of an epic drama. The story unfolds at a time when the people of God are split between nations with an uncertain future. In this study, Kelly Minter invites you into the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai -- a faith rooted in the goodness of God, lived out through ordinary circumstances, and used to change the world. Although our time looks different from Esther's, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called you for such a time as this.
NOTES:
- Registration for all WOW Bible Studies is $20 and covers the cost of the study book, any DVDs, and other leadership and student materials required. Books are ordered by the church and will be available on the first day of class at which time payment is due by cash or check. Scholarships are available by contacting Donna Betts at donna.k.betts@gmail.com. Also, please notify her if you need special accommodations.
- Class sizes vary but most are limited to 15 women. If the Bible Study in which you are interested is full, please sign up for the Waiting List by contacting Donna Betts at donna.k.betts@gmail.com. Invariably people drop out of studies before they begin or don’t attend on the first day, so openings do occur. Also, this is a great indicator that the study needs to be repeated and could become available to you in the future.
- DURING THESE SUMMER SESSIONS ONLY you may register for more than one study since the start dates are spread throughout the summer months and only when the course dates are consecutive. Be sure to mark your study dates on your calendar! If you find you cannot attend, please quickly cancel so we can fill your seat before the sessions begin.
